Jess took to wrestling like a fish to water. He loved it and did so well. We have some awesome video of his tournament we'll have to post later. Jess is the one in the blue. This maybe one of the only benefits of having an older brother who pounds on you on a regular basis. YOUR TOUGHER THAN NAILS!
Here's Ethan! The one on top. This took some getting use to for Ethan. He would just let the kid up if he tried. We'd say," Why do you let them up?""because I don't want to make them cry." So sweet. I'm not quiet sure if he'll want to do it again next year!
We had 22 little people for Sicily's no. 5 birthday!!! We had to do centers so we could accommodate everyone. Oh what fun it is to have a wonderful neighborhood and friends!!
This was the pizza making center.
This was the finger nail painting center!
This was the crown making center!
Sis picked out this bike because it was big like Ryan's.
Uncle John helping Jess carve his huge pumpkin!! We had so much fun at Grandma's soup and scoop! I didn't get any other pictures.
Mike and Melissa scaring the crap out of all the little kids. The gal on the ground moves!
Ethan the gangsta!
Sydney is the black witch!!!
Brent went in for knee surgery the first of October. He had a torn meniscus. He was a trooper and did great. His birthday was on the 2nd so kind of a downer birthday. I couldn't take him anywhere. He was healing well but complaining that his calf felt like he had a charley horse in it. When he went for his follow up visit the doctor did a ultra sound on it and he had a blood clot. Bad timing, he was suppose to be flying to Indonesia and Singapore the next week. I said heck no to that and after much stress he got another guy to go for him. All is well and Brent is back to playing basketball. Pictures of ward members treats for him.
Sydney turned 9 on October 25th and we had a rock star sleepover party! We did glamour shots after our makeovers and ate pizza and showed our stuff down our super model runway!
This is the first year I have ever canned anything ever! So much easier than I had ever thought. Isn't the word canning just so intimidating ! Anyways Salsa it was. Jill gave me a wonderful recipe so I could use all the things we grow in our garden.
This is the first year in our 15 years of being married that we have had Christmas lights on our house. Jordan, Jess and Brent were all working together. Actually Brent was freaking out. He hates heights. All I could do is laugh at him which made him even more mad. Anyways we sent dad to walmart to get more lights while I got on the roof and hung lights with Jordan. Brent got us the lights we needed and made us a wonderful dinner. I love my Brenty!

You are such a superstar Jean! No wonder so many kids come to your birthday parties--they're awesome. I'm going to call you for ideas from now on. I didn't know Brent was such a wuss with heights although I admit I'm not a big fan of them myself. Thank goodness he's so hairy too because his legs don't look so great sans hair. Love you guys! The kids all look so cute but big!
What a post! Birthdays, wrestling, surgery, lights. . . It is fun to see what the Barclays are up to. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We love you guys :)
Wow! So busy! I love all of your pictures. Way to go wrestling boys! And, way to party ladies! (I can't believe you can host such ginormous parties. You're so good.) I love the picture of Brent on the roof with Jordan right on the edge. Awesome! I can't wait to taste your salsa - it looks fab. Isn't it great to see the fruits of your labor?! Nice job! Love you, Barclays!
And I thought I was busy... Your parties look fantastic! I don't think I could handle that many kiddo's. :) Looks like the boys are really good at wrestling, how fun! Tell Brent not to worry about his fear of heights... I'm DEATHLY scared of bridges, not so much the height, just the structure. Ben thinks it is hilarious and will purposely go super slow across them, just to watch me squirm. Those darn Barclay boys!! :)
I think Brent looks good with a shaved leg. He has prety nice legs.

Wow!! Quite the post! That's a lot to catch up on! I am thinking the pics of the Bish on the roof are my favorite!
Jeannie it is so fun to see how your family has grown. You look wonderful and are definitely enjoying life! (I found you through Marcie's blog.) My blog is http://myreasontosmile.blogspot.com
I don't have much on there since I just started but it shows a little of what my life is like now. Hope you are doing well!
